Hand Magic Is Very Powerful & Wonderfully Simple...
I made my living as a young man using manipulation of my hands to perform card tricks. If you Google me you'll undoubtedly discover some performance clips. I like to tell people I've always been a magician; I just went from doing card tricks for a living to "the real stuff". I've studied hands for my entire life and been fascinated with them. Mudras (special healing hand-clasping postures) have been a particular obsession for me. I'm going to teach you two of my favorites you can use to help yourself with just your hands.
Mudra A: Hold your open palm (either one) in front of your throat so it's about 5 or 6 inches away. With your other hand hold your open palm over your belly button so it's also about 5 or 6 inches away. Now wait. Spend some time in this position and notice its calming, centering effect on your entire being. It's also great to help digestion. It doesn't matter whether your left or right palm covers each location; you'll find your favorite way.
Mudra B: This one is very simple. Wrap all the fingers of one hand around the middle two fingers of the other hand. So you're encircling the middle & ring fingers of one hand with all the fingers of the other hand. You can take your clasped hands and rest them in your lap or wherever they are comfortable. To really appreciate the pervasive changes & improvements this mudra brings, spend at least 5 minutes in this position the first few times you use it. I think you'll like it. Tip: next time you're in a boring meeting or a dull conversation bring your hands together in this mudra and notice how it can alter your entire experience. Great fun!
You can't overuse these mudras. They always bring balance & harmony to your body, mind & spirit. I know it seems too simple. It is. Enjoy the benefits & simplicity!
